Overall Performance

Resolve Carpet Cleaner is a powerful and safe solution for your carpet. It has no phosphorus, so you do not have to worry about harmful chemicals.

It penetrates deep into your carpet cleaning the deepest and toughest stains. It leaves your carpet looking new and the carpet fibers soft. You will no longer have to fight them stains that have been being stomped into your carpet for ages because Resolve will pull them out as if they were just made.

When you clean a stain, you no longer have to worry about it anymore because this product keeps stains from reappearing. If you have stains on your clothes but can’t find anything that will get them out, you can also use Resolve for pre-treating stains on your clothes.

I would recommend you apply a small amount of the solution to a hidden spot to see if there is any discoloration before you use it on your clothes or areas that are visible in your house. Some stains may cause discoloration after they have been cleaned depending on the chemicals in the stain so remember to test it out first on an unstained spot.

For better results, you should scrape off the excess of whatever caused the stain then apply the stain remover. Wash the material as soon as possible because the longer a stain is in the carpet, the harder it will be to remove because it gets stomped deeper every time someone walks over it.

Stain removal products can be combined with anti-allergen treatments to kill dust mites. Most stains are affected by heat where heat could cause the stain to bond with the fabric or carpet fibers. You shouldn’t have anything that is stained dry cleaned or ironed. If you iron or dry clean a stained material, it could turn into a chemical compound which makes it harder and sometimes impossible to remove.

If you have a stain that was caused by anything that has artificial food coloring you may have to apply Resolve to the stain a few times, because food coloring goes deeper into the carpet fibers than other stains would.

There are four types of household spots and stains which are oil based stains, dye stains, tea stains, and pet stains. Resolve will clean all these stains from your carpet although some stains may be harder to clean from the carpet than others.

Oil based stains will be the hardest for you to remove, and you may have to make several applications with Resolve to clean them from the carpet fibers completely.

Dye stains vary since there are many different dyes in food, medication, and other things you use in your home.

Tea stains leave a brown, tan, or yellow stain depending on the color of your carpet. You should pre-treat tea stains before you attempt to remove them.

Pet stains are self-explanatory. Pet stains are organic and are the easiest stains for you to remove. No matter what kind of stain it is, you are trying to remove I would recommend you pre-treat them before you attempt to remove them for the best results.

The most common and the easiest stains to remove are water-based stains, combination of oil and water based, and protein stains. These stains usually do not need to be pre-treated and can be removed by spraying a thin layer of resolve over them.
